Kirkland｜Tender, Flavorful & MASSIVE Lamb Shank!

Tired of Isarn? Decided to try a new Thai spot—SOI Thai Restaurant & Bar! 🍛✨ Went for a weekend lunch—not crowded, quick service, and overall a fantastic meal (way better than Gilson & SUMO this week!). 🌟 Lamb Shank Massaman ($27) Curry-braised lamb shank with roti, potatoes & pickled cucumbers. Blew our expectations away! The lamb shank was HUGE—fall-off-the-bone tender, and even after stuffing ourselves, 70% remained! 🍖 The curry had rich spices (slightly strong but delicious), and the roti was flaky, buttery perfection—so good dipped in sauce it felt sinful... The pickled cukes added a nice tangy balance. 🌟 Duck Curry ($27) Red curry with two crispy fried duck legs—super crunchy outside, smothered in creamy, coconutty curry. Rice killer alert! 🦆 Compared to Fern Thai, this one wins with bigger portions and sweet peppers/pineapple/tomatoes. Pad Thai ($16) Solid but not standout—sauce was rich, portion decent. Not bad at all, just outshined by the stars above.
