Kiskakukk Restaurant
When I was hesitating about what to order, the staff recommended a duo set menu. I decisively went for it✅ The apple foie gras, eaten with apple, wasn’t fishy at all! The richness of the fat was very satisfying! The purple dish had a subtle sourness and the sweetness of the vegetable (perfect for cutting through the richness)🥕 The duck breast was very tender, the skin wasn’t crispy but had a nice chewiness. The fried bread in the middle was the most ordinary😭, the inside of the bread was damp, it wasn’t very fragrant, and the aftertaste was a bit bitter🥀 The mashed potatoes had a slightly oily and granular texture, not that milky scent, delicious!!! Not greasy at all! The duck leg skin was very crispy, and the inside was soft and fragrant from the roasting, but it got a bit stuck in my teeth towards the end; luckily, there were toothpicks on the table. The beef soup was ordered separately. The potatoes and carrots were a bit bland, so I added a bit of salt and white pepper from the shakers on the table~ (the flavor was a bit reminiscent of borscht without the pickled vegetables) The beef soup was ordered separately. The overall atmosphere and experience were really good!!! #Hungary
