Kitano Tenmangu Shrine ๐
During the Momoyama period, ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ Toyotomi Hideyoshi constructed an earthen rampart "Otsuki" as a boundary and for water defense between the regions of Rakuchu and Rakugai. A portion of this rampart still exists today on the western side of the shrine grounds. ๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ โฒ๏ธ There are approximately 350 maple trees here, including a forked maple tree that is over 400 years old.
