Kitano Tenmangu Shrine ๐Ÿƒ

During the Momoyama period, ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ Toyotomi Hideyoshi constructed an earthen rampart "Otsuki" as a boundary and for water defense between the regions of Rakuchu and Rakugai. A portion of this rampart still exists today on the western side of the shrine grounds. ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŒณ ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ โ›ฒ๏ธ There are approximately 350 maple trees here, including a forked maple tree that is over 400 years old.
