Ktown Late-Night Tofu Seafood Hot Pot โจ๐ฒ Warm Up This Winter โจ๏ธ
Hi everyone ๐ This little tofu hot pot spot in LAโs Koreatown totally warmed my heart ๐ค You know that feeling in winter โ you sit down, steam hits your face, and instantly youโre wrapped in warmth. This isnโt your average tofu soup โ itโs a big DIY pot versionโผ๏ธ Portions are basically doubled. ๐ฒ Soondol Tofu House ์๋์ด๋ค ๐ 3300 W 6th St #1, Los Angeles, CA 90020 ๐ ฟ๏ธ Street parking nearby We chose the non-spicy seafood broth and added kimchi โ gave it a light reddish color but no heat. Itโs that clean, fresh, comforting seafood flavor โจ๏ธ Starts bubbling as it heats up. Their soft tofu practically melts in your mouth ๐ฅ โ so tender itโs effortless to scoop. The seafood mix โ octopus, shrimp, clams & small squid โ makes the broth super umami. Added spam, beef, enoki & shiitake mushrooms, napa cabbage โ slowly upgraded my pot into a luxury XL tofu feast ๐ฒ When the broth got really rich and thick toward the end, we threw in ramen noodles! Cooked just till chewy, soaking up all that savory broth โ pair with tofu and itโs pure satisfaction. Sides were solid too: ๐ Fried Chicken & Rice Cakes โ Crispy with sweet-spicy sauce โ perfect with beer ๐ป ๐ Stir-Fried Octopus โ Lightly spicy and chewy โ even better dipped in the hot pot soup. At night, people from nearby bars come here for a pot after drinks. One pot is enough for 2โ3 people โ huddled around the steaming pot, warming up and sobering up. Instantly calming vibes โ the temperature and atmosphere are just right for late nights ๐ #LADiscovery #LAEats #LosAngelesFood #LAKtownFood #KtownLAEats #LAKoreanFood
