π Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara 8-Day 7-Night Adventure! π
π Day 1 Touch down at Osaka Airport and grab the JR Haruka AirPort Express to Kyoto π π Day 2 Hanami-koji Street - For the best shots, go early! It's deserted and perfect for photos! π Yasaka Shrine - A great spot for kimono photos π Kamo River - Can't capture the beauty on a cloudy day βοΈ Nishiki Market - A long market with lots of snacks! Prices vary for the same items, so shop around! π Kiyomizu-dera - A must-visit spot! π Lots of local snacks and gift shops along the way, great for strolling. Gion Duck Noodle π¦π - A must-try! π₯Ή Despite the small space and long queues, the food is delicious! They explain the origin of each dish served with love β€οΈ π Day 3 Fushimi Inari Taisha - A must-visit in Kyoto β©οΈ Great for photos! Try to go early to avoid crowds. HΕΕji Temple - Grab a coffee at the Japanese Starbucks and then head to HΕΕji Street for more photos! π TogetsukyΕ Bridge - Should be beautiful in autumn. Arashiyama Bamboo Grove - So crowded you can hardly see the bamboo! π But we found a quiet path with no one around, perfect for a quick photo! Atago Jinja - If you have time, definitely visit! π It has a serene atmosphere and feels like something out of Spirited Away. Kinkaku-ji - I thought it was just okay. π π Day 4 Universal Studios Japan (USJ) - A whole day here! We didn't buy express passes initially, so we had no lines... After lunch, we started using our express passes and skipped all the queues! Saved so much time! Even with the express pass, we couldn't see everything because it's just too big! π Pics 1οΈβ£2οΈβ£ are what we ate at USJ, seems like a lot, huh? π€£ π Days 5 & 6 Highly recommend getting the Osaka Amazing Pass! It includes entry to many attractions and train tickets, all for free! We got the 2-day pass ππ» Remember to use it for two consecutive days! They give you a list of free attractions when you buy it... For the train tickets, just keep using the same card... We visited: Osaka Castle Osaka Museum of History Umeda Sky Building Osaka Museum of Living Tsutenkaku Shitennoji Temple Dotonbori Cruise Kuromon Market - Lots to eat, but most places open at 11 AM π Namba Yasaka Shrine Dotonbori Glico Sign π Day 7 Take the train to Nara! KΕfuku-ji - Just for a quick photo π Nara Park - Spent most of our time here! So many deer π And so much fun, they keep bowing for food π Find a spacious area with fewer people to feed the deer and take photos, it's a great spot for pictures!
