Travel Tips: 🌟 1️⃣ The Arashiyama tram departs from Saga-Arashiyama Station. You can reach Saga-Arashiyama Station from Kyoto City by taking the JR line, or by taking the Keifuku Arashiyama Line to Arashiyama-Saga Station and then walking for 3-5 minutes to the starting point of the Arashiyama tram. 2️⃣ I recommend a route that doesn't require backtracking. You can take the JR line to Kameoka Station, where you can board a boat for the Katsura River drift, returning to the core area of Arashiyama via waterway. Alternatively, you can get off at JR Umegahata Station and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the Arashiyama tram's Kameoka Station.
