🌿🍃 Kyoto • Kiyomizu-dera, Ninenzaka/Sannenzaka, Yasaka Pagoda 🌸🍃 I caught the earliest train from Osaka to Kyoto, and when I arrived, the sky was just turning a fish belly white. Compared to the previous day, the weather was really nice! ☀️🌅 🌺🌿 Although it was early, there were already several groups of tourists on the way to Kiyomizu-dera. No matter how early you go, there will always be someone who beats you to it! 😅 Plus, aside from the fewer crowds, there aren’t many benefits to being early (the offering halls weren’t open yet, 🌺🌿 so I couldn’t draw fortunes or buy charms/stamps). I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been in the city for too long, but being in the mountains felt like a refreshing cleanse for my body and mind, 🌺🌿 especially seeing the various Jizo statues along the way, which made me feel like I had entered a magical forest protected by forest spirits. 🌲✨ I only had one or two rolls of film left, and I really regret not bringing enough film, not checking my equipment, 🌺🌿 and not planning my shots properly, which wasted a few frames. I hope to learn my lesson and bring a CCD camera next time! (Oops!) 📸 #KansaiTravel 🌸 #Kyoto 🌺 #KiyomizuDera 🌿
