Kyoto Ginkaku-ji Temple 🌿
🌊Ginkaku-ji Temple: Photos 1 and 2 (It's recommended to arrive right when the doors open at 8:30. By 9:30 to 10:00, the crowds of Western tourists arrive, and the atmosphere is completely gone.) 🌿🌟 There aren't many cherry blossoms, but the ripples reflected on the pavilion are truly beautiful, and the moss is stunning too. 🌊 In the morning, before the staff has a chance to clean up, the camellia flowers fall onto the moss in whole blooms—it's so beautiful. I also took the special tour, and during the visit, the staff kept reminding everyone to be careful not to touch the walls. Hahaha. 🌿🌟 Hōjō-in Photos 3 and 4: There aren't many cherry blossoms here either, but after seeing cherry blossoms for several days, seeing the beautiful camellias at Hōjō-in was a pleasant surprise. 🌊 It was only after visiting Hōjō-in that I realized camellias can grow into such tall and large trees. This camellia tree must be several hundred years old, right? 🌿🌟 Hōjō-in even places camellia flowers on the pond and in the crevices of the walls, which is really aesthetically pleasing. #Kyoto 🌿 #Ginkakuji 🌊
