Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art
A Warm Blend of Japanese and Western Styles🤗 🔸 Built in 1933, the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art is Japan's oldest existing public art museum building. 🎢🌟 It was funded and rebuilt by Kyocera Corporation, founded by Inamori Kazuo, and the company holds the naming rights for 50 years. 🌟 🔸 The central hall of the main building is in a minimalist style with pure white🤍 accented by wooden decorations. The spiral staircase and the extensive use of negative space give the museum a modern feel. 🎢🌟 From here, you can access all the exhibition halls throughout the museum... 🌿 🔸 The western side of the main building features exhibition rooms with a strong Western flair, complete with marble and wooden decorations that evoke a sense of historical intricacy. 🌺Each window offers its own unique play of light☀️. 🔸 On the second floor, there's a small exhibition room. Although I couldn't understand the language in the TV introductions, it felt like a classroom guiding children in aesthetics🎨. 🌺 The colors and textures were incredibly soothing. #Kyoto 🌺 #KyotoMuseum 🏛️ #ArtAndCulture 🌿
