Kyoto Railway Museum 🗺️ Travel Guide

1️⃣ On the first floor outdoor area, there's a display of all kinds of trains, from the most classic steam locomotives to the latest Shinkansen models. You can visit the steam trains and even ride on them as they run a short distance. 🌅🌿 Kids absolutely love the train-shaped bento boxes, and eating inside the carriage is a unique experience 🍱✨. 🎢🌟(You can split up: one group can queue for the bento boxes while the others wait for a seat in the carriage!) 2️⃣ Inside the first floor, in addition to the train displays, there are various interactive experiences related to trains. You can control the traffic lights🚥, operate the electrification devices⚡️, try out different train control panels, and even simulate real train station scenarios. 🌅🌿 It's super fun! 🎢🌟 3️⃣ On the second floor, you'll find a retro train station platform, an experience of being a mini ticket seller, a ticket-buying experience, a train simulation driving experience, and a large-scale train theater performance. The theater simulates the operation of multiple trains, and it's open at set times. 🎢🌟 It's truly spectacular! 🎇✨ There's also a small train play area that's super fun for kids. 🚂🎈 4️⃣ The third floor features a large outdoor platform with a view of Kyoto's complex train tracks and a distant view of Gokokuji Temple🕍. It feels like a clash of modern and ancient cultures, and it's truly a unique experience. 🌅🌿 (Check out the last photo!) 🎢🌟 #KyotoRailwayMuseum
