Tried Tensho in Little Tokyo’s Honda Plaza — and it’s now my top pick for premium shabu shabu in LA. We shared the Wagyu + Seafood Course ($158) with a $50 add-on for a second person’s appetizers & dessert — and still couldn’t finish it! Highlights: 🍤 Appetizer trio – sashimi, soup, and tempura 🥩 Wagyu & seafood platter – fresh, beautifully presented 🍚 Porridge or udon to finish the broth (they packed it to-go for us!) 🍮 Desserts – creamy crème brûlée and light green tea mousse The service was warm and attentive, and the ponzu and sesame sauces elevated every bite.
