😭 LA’s Lifesaver for the Clumsy Big Foodie
Not an ad — just a heartfelt shoutout to this little spot in Pasadena that’s been feeding me all year! Whether I’m passing by, working from home, or craving comfort — it’s my go-to for affordable, generous, and clean eats. 🫔 Beijing Duck Jianbing — my absolute favorite. ☀️ Morning pick: tofu pudding (even a special red date & goji version during that time of the month!) 🍱 Lunch/Dinner: bento boxes with braised pork or trotters — so tender and rich. And their jianbing varieties are unreal — more creative than some I’ve had back in China! Think: cheese taro salted egg, spicy turkey noodles, braised pork, corn tuna… seriously, they wrap everything in a crepe. Back when I was at USC, this place had crazy lines — even celebrities supposedly waited. Since the wildfires, foot traffic’s dropped, and it breaks my heart to see this gem quieter now. If you’re in the area or browsing DoorDash / Panda / Fantuan — give them a try! They don’t really advertise, so as a loyal fan, I’m low-key worried they might fade away… Thinking of starting a fan group — maybe we can convince the owner to drop some discounts 👀 If you love them too, hit me up! Let’s keep this cozy kitchen thriving. 📍 Me & Crepe 89 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91105 #MeAndCrepe #JianbingLA #PasadenaEats #ComfortFood #ChineseCrepes #HiddenGem #SupportLocal #LAfoodie #AffordableEats #HomeStyleFood #FoodieFam #EatLocal #ShareTheLove #LunchSave
