LA|A Little London-Inspired Arcade Perfect for a Lazy Afternoon
It’s a mini arcade (see the last pic for the full view!) with just about 10 shops, yet by afternoon almost every seat is taken. Some people are studying, some reading 📖, some chatting, some in meetings, and some just relaxing with their dogs 🦮… This shopping area is inspired by London, England 🇬🇧 — complete with signature arched entries and red telephone booths ☎️. I heard it’s almost identical to the real “Burlington Arcade” in London, even sharing the same name. A few spots we enjoyed: 👛 A cheongsam (qipao) boutique — As a cheongsam newbie, I don’t know much about the craft, but I loved browsing. Lots of beautiful styles, though I was too shy to try any on. Next time! 🤱🏻 A baby & kids store with cute children’s clothes, soft toys, and gifts — great for families or gift shopping. ✨ A lifestyle boutique selling stationery, candies, blind boxes, and decorative trinkets. ☕️ A coffee shop with a steady line — we asked the barista to pick for us, and the drink was delicious! Next visit, we’ll try their desserts 🍮. Grab a coffee and you could easily spend the whole afternoon here. Thanks to the covered arcade, it’s shaded yet still lets sunlight peek through — absolutely beautiful and so relaxing ☀️. 📍 Burlington Arcade 380 S Lake Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101 #LosAngeles #LACafes #LAEats #Pasadena #LAExploration #StudentLife #InspirationalSpots
