LA|Elegant French Dining — Silky Foie Gras & Perfect Duck Confit 🇫🇷✨
Spotted this French spot during Dine LA week and decided to give it a try—definitely did not disappoint! 🫐 Foie Gras with Fig & Blueberry Jam + Baguette Haven’t had such authentic foie gras in California in ages! Far better than any chicken or duck liver substitute. The server mentioned it’s sourced from France via Canada—rich, creamy, balanced with figs and pomegranate seeds. A must-order! 🍖 Roasted Bone Marrow with Baguette A French classic—bone marrow oozing with richness, spread over warm baguette. So indulgent (eat it hot before it gets greasy). 🦆 Tender Duck Confit Crispy skin, melt-in-your-mouth tender meat—somehow reminded me of Peking duck! Looks fatty but rendered perfectly, not greasy at all. Best duck confit I’ve had! 🍷 Red Wine Braised Beef Pasta Adorably plated—savory wine-infused beef sauce over wide pasta, with mushrooms and parsley. Hearty and playful. Ended with crème brûlée and chocolate mousse—both delicious 😋 Reservations recommended—there was already a line when we left! 🐱 By day, I'm a data scientist at a tech company; by night, a long-time foodie sharing hidden gems in LA & the Bay.
