LA|I Can’t Be the Last to Know About This Korean BBQ Spot, Right?

Been to Diamond Plaza so many times but never noticed this BBQ place — until I met a Korean-American girl at work 🇰🇷 who said it’s her favorite in Rowland Heights: authentic, delicious, affordable. So we met up after work for dinner here. We ordered a combo + bibimbap — staff grill everything for you. 🍖 Variety Combo ★★★★☆ Mix of pork and beef — bulgogi, beef ribs, brisket rolls, pork collar. Bulgogi seasoning is nice and sweet, beef ribs have good meat quality with a milky aroma, brisket is just okay, pork collar is tender and juicy. Comes with steamed egg and corn cheese — both decent. 🦑 Squid Dolsot ★★★★★ As a squid lover, I’ve tried many spicy octopus bibimbaps — but this one actually impressed me! Not too spicy but full of flavor. Generous squid portions — crispy and bouncy. The rice crust at the bottom is incredibly fragrant!!! Anyone who loves stone pot rice / claypot rice knows it’s all about that crispy bottom. Some places serve bibimbap with zero crust — what’s the point of the stone pot then? 😒 Crust lovers, you get me!!! ✨ Their banchan taste house-made — so good we refilled multiple times. One side is a meat sauce served on a sizzling plate — staff said to mix it with rice, and it was great. Plus, one of the banchan was braised beef — feels kinda luxurious lol. 🥩 Yangmani 📍 1390 Fullerton Rd #105, Rowland Heights, CA 91748 #KoreanBBQ #LosAngeles #LALife #LAEats #LAExploration #LATravel #LAKoreanFood
