Am I the only working professional whose mind is occupied with food all day? ๐ค Every single day, Iโm just thinking about what to eat for breakfast, what to eat for lunch, and what to eat for dinner. ๐ณ๐ฅ๐ I discovered an AYCE sushi spot near my company ๐ข๐ก Their tasting menu AYCE is only $19.95 on weekdays from 12โ5 pm!!! What kind of deal is this? HELLO? ๐ I absolutely have to go taste this for myself!!! ๐ The full menu isnโt expensive either! ๐ค Weekday lunch is $28.95, other times are $38.95. We got there around 3-ish ๐, just in time for the happy hour promotion! ๐ Looking at the menus, the difference between the tasting and full isn't huge. Some items have limits, but basically everything we wanted was available. I've tried quite a few Japanese AYCE places. Some seem cheap, but forget about the ingredient quality... ๐ Their ordering rules are ridiculously complicated! ๐ Not only are there limited-quantity items and restrictions on how many times you can order, but also rules like "first round X plates, second round Y items"... What kind of AYCE math is that?! ๐ค Who can out-calculate you?! But this place!!! Besides a few limited items, there are basically NO restrictions!!! ๐ You can order THREE rounds, and order AS MUCH AS YOU WANT each time!!! Ordering feels so liberating! ๐ (Of course, we don't advocate waste โ order only what you can eat ๐ฏ) The ingredients are super fresh, great quality ๐ฅฌ๐, and the presentation and taste are both on point! ๐ It totally rivals many regular ร la carte Japanese restaurants! Scallops, salmon, sweet shrimp, eel, crayfish... Everything was delicious! ๐ At this price point, this quality is seriously hard to find! Unbeatable value! ๐ฏ Of course, you can also order ร la carte here.
