LA|Ktown Late-Night Tofu Hotpot 🍲🌙
This cozy tofu spot in Koreatown is a winter lifesaver! Stepping inside, the steam hits your face and instantly warms you up. This isn't your average tofu soup—it’s a large DIY hotpot, generous enough to share! 📍 Soondol Tofu House 3300 W 6th St #1, Los Angeles, CA 90020 We chose the mild seafood broth with added kimchi (just a hint of color, not too spicy). As it simmered, the fragrance filled the air! The tofu is incredibly silky and soft, almost melting in the spoon. 🥢 Seafood combo includes shrimp, clams, and squid—making the broth naturally sweet and rich. We loaded it up with spam, beef, mushrooms, and veggies, turning it into a luxurious XL tofu feast! Toward the end, we added ramen noodles—springy and soaked in the flavorful broth. Pure comfort! ❤️ Sides were solid too: 🍗 Crispy chicken with rice cakes—sweet-spicy and perfect with beer. 🐙 Stir-fried squid—chewy with a mild kick, great on its own or in the soup. At night, you’ll see folks from nearby bars gathering here for a warm, hearty pot—ideal for 2–3 people to share, sober up, and unwind. The cozy vibe makes it a perfect late-night stop! ✨ #LAEats #KtownLA #TofuHotpot #LateNightEats #KoreanFood #ComfortFoodLA
