LA|Oh! BANZAI|$65 DineLA Experience with a FULL Cup of UNI Shot 🍣
It’s DineLA season again! Every year I bookmark a few restaurants to try—last year had some disappointments 😅, so this time I was cautiously excited about trying a new spot. This hand roll bar in Torrance just opened recently—small and cozy, with a corner bar plus about 4–5 tables. The vibe is clean and pleasant 👌. The DineLA menu is a 4-course feast 🍽️: 1️⃣ Uni, Mountain Yam & Ikura Shoot — My favorite starter! Even though the uni is from Santa Barbara, they give you four super thick, creamy, and fresh slices 🍱. One sip and you’re in a sticky, savory-sweet kingdom—ikura popping and uni dancing in your mouth 🕺💖. 2️⃣ 5-Premium Hand Rolls 🍙: Salmon + Lao Gan Ma chili sauce 🐟🌶️ Toro 🐟 Ikura + Scallop 🐚 Unagi + Egg 🍳 Crab Legs 🦀 Each one is from their premium hand roll selection (normally $8–15+ each!). Getting to try all five in one go? So worth it 😍. Every roll is generously filled! 3️⃣ Chashu Tsukemen (Dry Ramen) 🍜 — Refreshing and perfect for hot summer days! The noodles are served with a tangy-spicy sauce, and the chashu is flavorful and tender. Only downside? Huge portion—almost impossible to finish for one person 😂. 4️⃣ Vanilla Ice Cream + Warabi Mochi 🍦🍡 — The vanilla ice cream was loaded with real vanilla beans 🤣, and the mochi was chewy and coated in kinako (roasted soybean flour) + brown sugar. A little sweet but super satisfying 😋. Overall, for $65 per person, this experience exceeded many trendy hand roll spots 🏆. It’s one of the few DineLA picks that made me want to come back again and again! Their regular lunch hand roll set is also a steal—5 pieces for $26 😱. Fresh ingredients, creative flavors—highly recommended if you’re still deciding where to go for DineLA! #LosAngelesEats #DineLA #LAFoodie #TorranceEats #OhBANZAI #HandRollBar #JapaneseFoodLA
