LA|Ojiya|Hard to Judge… Until I Saw the Price 🤐

Came across this place online— And honestly, as someone who loves food and usually picks well, I still got fooled this time. Seeing people hype up Ojiya as super delicious left me a bit speechless… 😶 ~ When I arrived, it felt kinda funny—realized it’s in the same plaza as Inaba. Memories came flooding back! 🏮 ~ I didn’t check prices when ordering. With each dish, I couldn’t help but say “This isn’t good…” out loud. The cream pasta was okay—everything else? Not really. The salmon sashimi was fine—the restaurant’s busy, so the fish is relatively fresh. But the monkfish liver? The worst! Seriously awful… I have no words. 😖 Meanwhile, Inaba in the same plaza has the BEST monkfish liver in LA… The world works in mysterious ways. The beef tasted alright—decent preparation—but the meat quality was just poor. 🥩 ~ Then the bill came. Seeing the price made me take back everything I said earlier. Hmm… okay, it’s pretty good actually… We ordered a ton of food + drinks for two people, and it was only $90… Yeah… I’ll just be quiet now. 😅💸 Have you been to Ojiya?
