Despite its modest facade and interior, this place has been enjoying a high reputation and attracting a large regular clientele. So be prepared for long waiting to be seated and served even on most weekdays (closed Mondays). Its menu is diverse and pricing is relatively reasonable. Its food is largely fresh and in good quality. The service there is so-so mainly because the servers seem too busy to be attentive to customers' needs, though they remain personable and professional. Overall, there is much room for improvement at this place, such as: improving air ventilation in the dining area so it doesn't smell kitchen; improving and stabilizing the quality of cooking, as some food items (such as fish or pork) sometimes seemed over-cooked or re-heated; making the quality of sushi of various varieties consistent; sometimes the rice was too soft to hold individual pieces of sushi together; always serving miso soup warm instead of lukewarm (and hopefully providing a spoon); increasing the selection of sake and reducing its price; improving the...

My ULTIMATE FAVORITE MEAL is found in this restaurant. I ALWAYS order their 2-item Bento Box with TERIYAKI SALMON & MISO BASS. It's more expensive now but that's understandable because of what's going on with our economy.

But if you were to indulge once in a while, order their Miso Bass. It's worth every dollar. Their Servers are very friendly. Try their MISO SALAD DRESSING! It's delicious! You could buy a bottle of it at this restaurant.

What I think this restaurant could improve on is how they make their california roll. It breaks apart as you pick it up with chopsticks. But once in your mouth, they're delicious. :D

Parking could be a challenge in this area especially during the weekend. Most of the time, there's a line of people waiting to get in. But that's a good sign that Ojiya's food is really good.

I'm a FAN. My family and friends are FANS of this restaurant. I just don't like how they mess up when we order online. Lol. Other than that, I have no complaints at all. I love this...

After hearing so many compliments about this place, I gave it two tries. First time I just ate a variety of sushi since the special sold out within minutes.

My most recent visit, I had the Udon/ California roll/ salmon sushi + another sushi for 8.50? This is a great deal if you are looking to just eat something for lunch.

For a quality meal I do not recommend this place. I think the great reviews are for its lunch special menu, however the fact that they only limit this first 15 dishes is kind of ridiculous.

15? That gets sold within probably the first 30 minutes.

The sushi is mediocre. If you are looking for quality sushi, don't go here. If you work around the area and you feeling sushi for lunch, this might be a good choice.

It was pretty slow service too. The couple that ordered two specials next to me ate and left while I was waiting for my...

One of my favourite place to go to for real authentic Japanese sashimi made by Japanese chef (not saying other nationality chefs are bad but it's nice to see a real Japanese chef) Favorite to order are Seared Salmon with miso and Seared Salmon with no dressing, reason for this is the taste of miso dressing is perfectly balanced with Seared Salmon, and without miso it gives you a creamy, rich and Seared fat flavor from the Salmon, cannot have enough with it. It also have a fried garlic dressing but not a fan. Other than Seared Salmon would be chicken karaage, ask them for an additional spicy mayo. Without the mayo it is already pretty juicy and flavourful (7/8 times of my visits it's juicy)

The food is delicious, and the place is clean, with a good environment. The curry and rice are delicious, and you can order set meals, which are also delicious. The main downside is that the space is small and there are many tables. If there are many people, it will be noisy inside. I would suggest not going there. afternoon, because there are a lot of people and you need to queue, but the queue is only about 20 minutes. I suggest coming in the afternoon. Then, this dish comes out very quickly and the waiters are very good. The main point is that the space is very small and it is very noisy, but everything else is very good. I can give it five stars and you can come and try it.
