LA's Perfect Farmers Market for Spontaneous Souls & Hidden Gem Walk ๐ฅ
๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ | Time for a Stroll Larchmont is seriously such a nice spot for a city walk ๐ถ And the Sunday farmers market? Way too good to resist! Besides stalls selling fresh veggies ๐ฅฌ and fruits ๐, there are also vendors offering seafood ๐ฆ, bread ๐ฅ, dips ๐ฎ, eggs ๐ฅ, flowers ๐, and even jewelry ๐๏ฝ All the sellers are super friendly ๐ Almost every food stall offers samples โ and many fruit stands even have little tasting boxes for each fruit! If you go in the morning, you can basically skip breakfast and just snack your way through the market lol ๐คฃ After the market, you can wander down Larchmont Blvd โ the whole street is full of cute shops like Diptyque and Aฤsop. We even scored loads of free samples at Aฤsop (winter skin is no joke ๐คฆ๐ปโ๏ธ). Saw so many people walking their dogs ๐ โ met an incredibly fluffy Samoyed that day! The popular brunch spot Great White ๐ฅ is also on this street, but since Iโm not huge on "white people food" and the line was crazy longโฆ we skipped it. If you love taking photos ๐ท, literally any shop here makes a great backdrop๏ฝ Only downside โ got hit by a gift wrap price shock at Short Hand ๐ฅท A small roll for $10?! Didnโt see that coming ๐ญ But the famous Levain cookies ๐ช (originally from NYC!) were delicious! Heard this brand started back in 1992 โ super rich in chocolate, though a bit too sweet. Theyโre also huge โ we shared one and could barely finish! At the market, I picked up some amazing lavender honey ๐ฏ, 3 boxes of gorgeous strawberries ๐, yogurt, and a loaf of bread ๐ Also grabbed some handmade squid ink pasta from a lovely Italian auntie ๐ And a beautifully scented candle ๐ฏ๏ธ Parking is free on Sundays in the lot across from the farmers market โ could it get any better?!
