LA | Another Top-Notch K-Town BBQ Spot Checked Off!

Just added another high-quality Korean BBQ joint in K-Town to my list! 🥩✨ In my book, the top-tier spots include Jeong Yuk Jip, Quarters, Daedo, and now—MUN Korean Steakhouse! Tried this place last year (finally digging out the photos lol) ~ it’s rare for me to actually use my camera for food pics! We ordered two set menus and a few extra dishes. The set includes: Prime Ribeye Prime Hanging Tender Prime Chuck Tail Flap Marinated Boneless Short Ribs Sides: Mashed potatoes, Bulgogi Yukjeon (Korean beef pancake), Japchae, MUN Stew, MUN Mushrooms (king oyster mushrooms with their logo), and salad. They also offer free instant noodles (DIY style) 🍜—totally forgot to try them! The meat quality was solid 👍, though the beef pancake wasn’t my favorite, and the seafood pancake was just okay. Pro tip: Reserve ahead if you want indoor seating! Without a reservation, we sat outside—cozy and pleasant in warm weather. Their drink menu is pretty extensive too 🍶. One small gripe: service felt a bit uneven. Most tables around us were Korean guests, and the staff seemed more attentive to them 😅.
