LA | Charming Hidden French Gem ✨ | A New Go-To Date Night Spot
Recently discovered this lovely French restaurant that’s still flying under the radar! 🤍 Though it hasn’t been open long, it already excels in atmosphere—soft candlelight, fresh flowers, and gleaming wine glasses set the scene for a truly romantic evening ✨. While the flavors didn’t completely wow me, it’s a perfect spot for a date night or a relaxed drink 🥂. Here’s a quick look at what we tried: 🕯️ Oysters Refreshing, but the oysters that night lacked the sweetness I was hoping for. 🕯️ Mousse au Foie de Volaille A tasty chicken liver mousse paired with tangy apple jelly. A nice combo, though the hazelnut flavor was a bit overpowering. 🕯️ Tartare et Caviar Sea bream tartare with caviar and yogurt sauce—a light, pleasant starter. 🕯️ Duck Confit “Cigars” Crispy duck confit rolls. A bit salty and not particularly memorable. 🕯️ Seared Scallops My favorite main of the evening! Perfectly seared, tender scallops with popping fish roe. 🕯️ Lamb Rib Chops A bit overcooked, served with hummus on the side. 🕯️ Risotto aux Champignons We ordered this since we were still hungry. A simple, decent mushroom risotto. 🕯️ Madeleines au Beurre Noisette The star of the night! These warm, buttery madeleines were incredible ‼️ Served with lightly sweetened Chantilly cream 🧈—so light and not overly rich. A perfect ending! Heads-up: Portions are quite small (very French indeed 🐦). We ordered 7 dishes plus dessert and still left a little hungry… funny but true! 🏠:JULIET 📍:8888 Washington Blvd Suite 102, Culver City, CA 90232 #RestaurantRecommendations #RomanticDining #FrenchCuisine #HiddenGems #DateNight #LosAngeles #LAFood #LAEats #LAFrench #CulverCity #FoodReview #TryItOut
