LA | Elegant French Dining: Rich Foie Gras & Perfect Duck Confit 🇫🇷

After seeing rave reviews during Dine LA Restaurant Week, I decided to give this French spot a try—and it did not disappoint! 🫐 Foie Gras with Fig & Blueberry Compote It’s been a while since I’ve had such authentic foie gras in California! According to the server, this foie gras is sourced from France via Canada—making it quite the treat. The rich, creamy texture paired with sweet figs and pomegranate seeds was heavenly and perfectly balanced. Served with toasted baguette—highly recommend! 🍖 Roasted Bone Marrow with Baguette A French classic done right! The bone marrow was roasted until gloriously oily and spread over crisp baguette slices. So satisfying, but enjoy it while it’s hot—it can get heavy as it cools. 🦆 Duck Confit This might be the best duck confit I’ve ever had! The skin was beautifully crispy, while the meat remained incredibly tender and flavorful. Strangely, it reminded me of Beijing roast duck—but without any greasiness. A must-order! 🍷 Red Wine Braised Beef Pasta Adorably plated and full of depth! The beef was slow-cooked in red wine until fork-tender, then served over wide pasta with mushrooms and parsley. Hearty, fun, and delicious. 🍮 Desserts We ended with crème brûlée and chocolate mousse—both executed beautifully. A sweet and satisfying finish to a fantastic meal. 📌 Tips: Make a reservation! We walked out to a growing waitlist. Great for dates or special occasions. 🏠 Restaurant: Not named in original text 📍 Location: Los Angeles 👩‍💻 By day, I’m a data scientist in tech; by night, a foodie sharing hidden culinary gems in LA and the Bay Area.
