(And yes, the name does sound like “bear child” in Mandarin 😆) Founded in 2012 in Redondo Beach, this local favorite now has multiple locations, but their new HQ truly shines. Stepping inside feels like entering a warm, minimalist haven—think industrial meets Scandinavian, with hints of Aesop’s elegant aesthetic. 🧴☕ While it’s a bit crowded lately (photo ops can be tricky!), the design is worth the visit. They roast their own beans in-house, and most of their coffee is sourced from Colombia—a refreshing change from the usual trends. 🌎 The packaging is adorable too! 💚 Plus, the area is a foodie hub: you can grab ice cream at Kansha Creamery or explore the nearby Tokyo Central supermarket.
