LA | Ojiya | Hard to Judge… Until I Saw the Price 💸
Never thought I, a fairly picky food lover, would one day be this underwhelmed. People hyped Ojiya so much — now I’m just confused 😅 Arriving was kinda funny — realized it’s in the same plaza as Inaba, memories flooding back. Ordered without checking prices, and with each dish, I couldn’t help but mutter “not good…” Creamy pasta was okay, but the rest… meh. Salmon sashimi was fine — busy restaurant, fish was fresh. But the monkfish liver — worst I’ve had! So bad 😫 Ironically, Inaba in the same plaza has the best monkfish liver in LA… the world works in funny ways. Beef — flavor was decent, preparation okay, but the meat quality was poor. Then the bill came 💡 Seeing the price made me take back everything I said — Okay… it’s actually pretty good 😂 Two people, multiple dishes + drinks for just $90… I’ll just… quietly enjoy the affordability. #Foodie #LifeAbroad #MyFoodTreasures #LAEats #JapaneseFood #PrettyPlates #SoCalLife
