This was one of my most delightful Michelin-star meals in LA! Loved everything — the ambiance, service, flavors, pacing, and the heartwarming story behind the restaurant. I officially declare: the butter bread 🧈🍞 is legendary! Never thought I’d be won over by a piece of bread like this. 📍 Manzke 📍 9575 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035 💰 Around $300 per person (drinks separate) Right after we were seated, the server shared the restaurant’s origin story — it’s run by a husband-and-wife duo! 🥹 How sweet is that? Two people sharing a passion, building their dream restaurant together — so romantic. Each dish came with a thoughtful introduction, connecting the chefs’ personal journeys, ingredient choices, and the emotions they wanted to express. 🍸 We picked our own cocktails — all delicious! They also have an impressive cognac collection (though it’s not really my thing, so I skipped it 😄). This Michelin spot felt warm and personal, like friends sharing treasures collected over years of culinary exploration.
