LAโ€™s food scene is just too good โ€” hereโ€™s a roundup of my latest bites across Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and brunch spots! ๐Ÿš Chinese / Japanese / Korean ๐Ÿ Louders (K-Town) Creamy pasta, fried chicken, and kimchi pork stew are top-tier! Octopus & pork fried rice was a bit too rich for me. ๐Ÿข Dan Sung Sa (K-Town) Cozy spot for Korean skewers! Loved the grilled pineapple and cheesy corn. ๐Ÿ› Dolarโ€™s (San Gabriel) Authentic Xinjiang cuisine โ€” the big plate chicken and ding ding noodles are hearty and flavorful. Their yogurt drink is a perfect palate cleanser! ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Spice King (San Gabriel) A long-time favorite! Must-orders: Mashed eggplant with chili & century egg โ€” so savory with rice! Spicy King stir-fried pork โ€” wok hei for days! ๐Ÿต NBC Restaurant (San Gabriel) Classic dim sum with carts โ€” solid and authentic! ๐ŸฅŸ Kang Kang Food Court The best pan-fried soup dumplings (sheng jian) Iโ€™ve had in the US! Crispy bottom, thin skin, bursting with soup. Beef roll is also tasty. Go early for fresh youtiao! ๐Ÿ Thai Ruen Pair A popular spot โ€” solid but not mind-blowing. Pineapple fried rice and morning glory were tasty. La Ong Their Thai chicken wings are crispy and flavorful โ€” highly recommend! ๐Ÿณ Brunch / Western Republique Gorgeous space with delicious brunch and dinner. Must-tries: Mushroom toast Brioche French toast Margherita pizza Pasta was a tad salty, but still enjoyable. What are YOUR favorite spots in LA?
