Rudest server. Never been bullied by a server in my life.
A man (tall, with a bun) came to take the order. (Bahn mi and spring rolls) When he took the order, we thought that he has a little bit of attitude, but didn’t really care. We ordered spring rolls and a bahn mi to share. When spring rolls were given, we asked for some napkins since the table was still wet. When the bahn mi was served, we asked for chopsticks and side plates. He asked us anything else several times (I felt apologetic because he made it sound like we were bothering him too much), I just said chopsticks and side plates. This time, he brought out only one set of chopsticks and a plate, so I asked him for another set of chopsticks and a plate. He then quickly said no (at this point I thought he is being very rude). He asked us anything else several times with attitude again. I said just plates and chopsticks, that’s it. Then brought out another plate, holding the plate with his bare hand and said “I was joking about that btw” and I called him out saying that the comment was rude. He then said “well u guys only asked for one plate and one chopstick. “if u says so, u can leave.” I told him no we asked for plates and chopsticks so we can share.
We still do not understand why he was treating us so rudely. We tried our best to be polite when asking for items and even felt bad for feeling like we were asking too much. We couldn’t handle his attitude and felt disrespected and decided to leave without touching the food. I believe that everyone should treat each other with respect and courtesy. I have never felt this kind of treatment in my life from a person when in fact when we were being just normal customers. I hope none of the customers in this restaurant should feel this way. Does not give anyone the right to be rude to the server or the customer vice or versa. Hopefully this will be my very first and last time leaving review like this for a business. (especially a small business, which I try to support) If he is the owner, please please change ur attitude, u will lose customers. If you are server or a manager, I hope the owner makes a...
Read moreI can’t recommend this spot. Also, I’m writing this on my partner’s account—She was feeling like Pho so I stopped to pick some up with a fresh roll for supper. When I arrived at her apartment I realized the container had not been sealed properly and had created a complete mess in the car. I went to run a quick errand and she took the food up to the apartment in hopes of salvaging the dinner, but it was no use—the pho was dripping out everywhere and the mess had now extended from my car to her carpet. She called the business hoping to get the order replaced and was told to come back to the store. Once there the cashier told her to show him a picture and she did just that. The cashier said he needed to quickly check with the owner. He came back with a phone and it was the owner. The owner then said he couldn’t replace the order without the original food. She calmly explained that the food was no longer in any shape to be transported. He said that people try this all the time trying to get free food and if he were to replace her Bun Bo Hue he would go out of business.
When I heard all of this I was very confused and swung by the establishment to find out why this simple fix couldn’t happen. The cashier—who was doing his best—told me that if they replaced the order it would come out of both his and the line cook’s wages. I’m not a lawyer, but I’m confident this is illegal and if it’s not, well, it’s certainly unjust. Anyway, I’m not usually one for Yelp and certainly not on a Saturday night, but as a human being and a former hospitality employee, not only was the customer service disappointing, the conduct of the owner was absolutely appalling. For these reasons I simply cannot...

First, let me say that I'm the oddball who walks a lot in LA. I live two miles away, so I hoofed it. Because of this, I can't attest to a lack or an abundance of parking.
The place itself is very clean. There are a few chairs outside in a hallway where you can sit while you wait for seating. I came here around 7 on a Friday and only had to wait about 10 minutes before a very nice server showed me to my table.
My food came out in no more than 5 minutes. It was FAST. The place is constantly busy, so you know the food is fresh and they're just churning it out all day. I ordered a boba Thai tea and the house special.
The Thai tea is one of the best I've had. It's just sweet enough, has a bold flavor, and has just enough boba in it. Delicious.
The pho was so flavorful and rich. I loved the Kobe beef in it. It's the perfect consistency and taste. The word "succulent" comes to mind. Thinking back on it, I feel like I barely chewed on it, it was so tender. The noodles were just there right kind of chewy, and the broth was... Well, I wish I could sip on it all day.
What a treat this was. The server checked up on me in a sincere and caring way, and when I was done, he helped me use Android Pay without any effort. I'm very glad I walked a few miles for this meal. The reviews I read were spot-on. I'll be doing back...
