๐ฃ LA | Sushi Inaba
๐ต First visit to Inaba, and I was genuinely surprised! I usually keep my expectations modest for Michelin omakase, but this one truly delighted me ๐ฅน๐ซ ๐พ Ambience: The restaurant is set in an intimate suite-style space ๐ฎ. Only one seating per night, starting at 7:30 PM, so the vibe is super relaxed and everyoneโs in no rush. The chef was smiling all night โ so wholesome and cute! ๐จ๐ณโค๏ธ ๐ Uni Soba A signature dish at Inaba โ and no surprise, it was incredible ๐๐ Chilled, deeply umami broth paired with perfect uni. Sweet, rich, aromaticโฆ all in one bite! I ended up drinking every last drop of that broth โ wouldโve loved another bowl ๐ญ๐ ๐ Monkfish Liver (Ankimo) Hands down the best ankimo Iโve had in LA! Creamy, fresh, and melted like a dream. No exaggeration โ itโs that good ๐ซถโจ ๐ฃ Nigiri Series Each piece was a delight! The fish was cut generously โ so satisfying ๐โค๏ธ The shari (vinegared rice) was perfectly seasoned, enhancing the fish without overpowering it. Maybe I just love bold flavors, but it totally won me over! We were served three different types of uni throughout the meal, each better than the last ๐ผ But the real MVP of the night? The binchล-grilled Kinmedai โ smoky, fragrant, absolutely unforgettable ๐ฅ๐ โ Verdict: Inaba is seriously the most worthwhile Michelin omakase experience in LA right now! And hey โ if you disagree, no worries, youโre entitled to your opinion ๐๐ฌ ๐ Reservations are surprisingly manageable: released monthly on the 1st at 12 PM via Tock! โฐ Iโm already planning my third visit โ canโt wait to be surprised all over again! โจ๐ #SushiInaba #MichelinOmakase #LAFoodie #BestSushiLA #UniLover #OmakaseLife #FineDiningLA
