I think they don’t know what service means. This is what happened, it was pretty busy , when I was there. I ordered Sakura sushi, one dozen of kumamoto, and volcano roll. The sushi came first then we waited oysters and roll for quite long time, and next to our table they came later than us(after sushi came out) but they got their food right away, but I didn’t complain anything. Then I didn’t want one dozen of kumamoto anymore. Her name is Nara, she is an waitress of this place. I asked her to change one dozen to half dozen, she changed for us which was good so far. But the manager was passing by us so my bf called the manager then he talked about our food to the manager. Then NARA saw he was talking to manager then she told us “you are not the only one sitting here, waiting for food”. WHAT A NICE WORD. I was so shocked. We didn’t say anything to her then she gave us that attitude? The manager explained that they were so busy since lunch time so she got so stressed!? I didn’t give her stress. Even if she got stressed from work, she should’ve be like that to us. I told the manager that she should apologize to us. I don’t think they can control her. The manager apologized but we didn’t need the manager’s apology. I wanted to talk her cuz I had no Idea why she said that to us. I asked her nicely “can I talk to you?” She responded me “do not bother me, I am working “. I was so mad then I told her “ if you don’t know how to do service, you shouldn’t work here”. Then she said “what the hell are you?” I still had to pay for everything except the roll. Obviously I didn’t eat oysters and roll at all. I couldn’t get her apology either. I was even crying, my body was shaking. When I was leaving that place, she was waving her hand with mocking to me. But nobody could not control her there. Maybe she is the owner then she didn’t even wanna make money!? What a nice service! Never go there! Never ever. If you wanna try there, expect to get bad service with...
Read moreIt had been a long time since I had dined here, and my friend and her husband invited us for dinner. The food was good, EXCEPT for the CUSTOMER SERVICE. Which made the visit very bittersweet.
Ms. Sunny took our order. My husband and I ordered a Shrimp crunchy roll, Eel tempura shrimp Roll, and a chicken teriyaki bowl. My friend and her husband ordered a Shrimp Crunchy roll with cream cheese and a Dragon tiger Roll. When the servers including Sunny, started bringing the food, we noticed that an item was missing an ingredient that we had requested. We let Sunny know and she insisted that that was what we had ordered. We kindly reiterate that we had requested cream cheese on one of the crunchy shrimp rolls and she became upset. She kept telling us that that was the order and we didn’t request the cream cheese, until another server overheard and she told us she would take care of it. As we waited, Sunny brought us a bowl (which was not the chicken teriyaki bowl) and we told her that this was not our item and yet again she insisted and left us talking while she walked away. Then, seconds later she returns to our table, and said that the bowl was not the correct item and she took it from us. We were all upset with all the confusion going on with our meals because she kept bringing us items that we had not ordered. It was after some time that we finally got all our orders correct and we all ate. Like we say in Spanish, hasta el hambre se me quitó, after all the confusion and Sunny’s terrible customer service. At the end, when it was time to pay, I obviously left no tip due to Sunny’s terrible customer service. But she had the audacity to add 18% to my check. I made a complaint to the manager and he made sure to remove that 18%. It’s a shame that for people like Sunny, people would no longer want to dine there. I know I wouldn’t if she were my server again.
Unfortunately, very bad customer...
Read morebeautiful restaurant with a beautiful ambience, tied in with a fun vibe. perfect for anyone to visit, any occasion, & definitely worth it.
they played some popular tunes from these days while we ate there, & the waiters & waitresses were young folks & fun. the waiter we had for the majority of our stay was great, I forgot his name, but he had long hair & wore glasses. he was fun, made a few jokes, & kept checking on us. he was great, he was very much appreciated by my partner & I.
we ordered an appetizer of gyoza, we ordered 2 spicy pork bowls, 1 island roll, & 1 ultimate crunch roll. the gyoza was the best we've ever had. the bowls were delicious, the meat wasn't fatty like other restaurants we've been to, wasn't too spicy either, so you can really enjoy the flavors of the dish, sooo good. the island roll was delicious, but drowned in an orange spicy sauce, similar to a buffalo sauce. that was my only complaint 'cause it was a lil overpowering, but still delicious nonetheless. the ultimate crunch roll was so good, it had cream cheese in it which was sooo good. my partner ordered 2 more to go, he liked it so much, which our waiter happily added onto our check, gave us the check while we finished eating & while we waited for the to go order.
the table was set neatly. it had a wooden plate & a soy sauce dish on top. the chopsticks were greaaaat quality, a dark brown wood. ginger & wasabi on the table as well. the menu was online, so they had a code you scanned on your camera & it takes you to a long, thorough menu with pictures of the food. easy & available any time.
for our whole meal, drinks, all 4 sushi rolls, an appetizer, & 2 pork bowls, our bill was 100 even. we tipped 20, so 120 for the night. great price for great food, excellent service, & beautiful ambience. definitely a must if you're near!
thank you all at Tenno Sushi! 🖤 we sure will be back to...
