๐ LA | Trying the โBest Burger in LAโ โ Is It Worth It? ๐ค
We visited Petit Trois โ a charming French spot near Melrose โ drawn in by their famously photogenic burger and omelette. Hereโs the honest take: ๐ Big Mec Crowned โBest Burger in LAโ back in 2016 โ and it looks the part! The sauce, cheese, and patty work well together, and the bun holds up even with all that juiciness. Flavor? Good, but not mind-blowing. The sauce has a slightly bitter aftertaste โ very classic Western-style. Gets rich after a while, but those fries are top-notch! ๐ ๐ณ Omelette Petit Trois A gorgeous, flowy omelette stuffed with Boursin cheese โ so creamy and satisfying! Comes with a fresh side salad that cuts through the richness. Highly recommend! ๐ ๐ Burgundy Escargots Signature garlic butter snails served with crispy baguette slices โ so fragrant and delicious! A must-order! ๐ ๐ Chicken Liver Mousse Crispy bread topped with creamy chicken liver mousse and balsamic onion jam. Sounds great, but the liver was quite pungent โ okay for a bite, but quickly gets heavy and overwhelming. Not for everyone. โ ๐ฅ Spring Salad The real MVP of the meal! Fresh, light, and seriously saved us from all the richness. A must to balance the meal. ๐ Vibe & Tips: Indoor seating is bar-only and dimly lit โ better for a sunny day visit or a cozy evening. Most dishes are rich and can get heavy โ that salad is essential! A valet is available. ๐ Petit Trois 718 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038 A worth-trying French gem โ but probably not a repeat for me. #PetitTrois #BestBurgerLA #FrenchFood #LAEats #OmeletteGoals #Escargot #BrunchSpot
