LA | Upscale French Dining in LA — Rich Foie Gras

Saw great reviews during Dine LA Restaurant Week and decided to try this French spot — and it did not disappoint! 🫐 Foie Gras with Fig & Blueberry Jam + Baguette It’s been a while since I’ve had real foie gras in California — way better than chicken or duck liver substitutes! The server mentioned it’s imported from France via Canada — truly special. Rich and creamy, paired with fig and pomegranate seeds — satisfying yet not heavy. Highly recommend! 🍖 Roasted Bone Marrow with Baguette A French classic — bone marrow roasted until glossy and decadent. Spread on warm baguette — two slices were plenty rich. Eat it hot — gets greasy when cool. 🦆 Tender Duck Confit The skin was crispy and fragrant, the meat inside soft and tender — somehow reminded me of Peking duck! Looks fatty but rendered perfectly — not greasy at all. Best duck confit I’ve had! 🍷 Red Wine Braised Beef Pasta Adorably plated — the wine-infused beef sauce draped over wide pasta, with mushrooms and parsley. Delicious and playful! Ended with crème brûlée and chocolate mousse — both spot-on. Reservations recommended — there was a line outside when we left! 😺 Daily life: Data scientist at a tech company 🧱 | 10-year study abroad veteran | Love sharing hidden food gems in LA & the Bay — follow for more! #LAEats #LAFrenchFood #LALife #LAFood #FrenchCuisine #LAFoodFinds #LATravel
