LA — Ever-New & Gorgeous Eats 🍈

📍 Market Venice Open for dinner only, reservations highly recommended! 📅 Cozy bistro vibe, just a short walk from Venice Beach. Perfect for a pre-sunset meal, followed by watching the sun dip below the horizon — so relaxing! 🌅 Every dish here is delicious; I rarely rave about "non-Asian" food, but this place truly delivers. Great for catching up with friends or a family meal. Dog-friendly outdoor seating available too! 🐕 🐟 Salmon Crudo — I usually avoid raw fish, but our server insisted… and I’m so glad! It was a “regret-if-you-miss” kind of dish. Just added to the menu that day! 🍈 The sauce is tangy-sweet with subtle herbs, similar to ceviche, and paired with fresh melon — an incredible combo. They previously had a blood orange version, but this one’s even better! 🍝 Lumache Pasta — The best tomato-based pasta I’ve had recently! As a tomato pasta lover, I order it everywhere — and their spicy vodka sauce is exceptional. The snail-shaped shells hold lots of sauce, making each bite super satisfying. 🥩 Hanger Steak — So fragrant and delicious, especially with grilled onions! The light, tangy-sweet jus and occasional kick from wasabi sauce were perfect. Cooked medium rare — absolutely fantastic. 🦪 Oysters — Originally wasn’t planning to order, but they’re from southern Massachusetts (my hometown vibe!), so I gave in — zero regrets! Served with an Italian chili vinaigrette that tasted like “Italian Lao Gan Ma + aged vinegar” — incredibly tasty. (Though maybe go easy on raw oysters lately, folks.) 🍮 Tiramisu + Campari Olive Oil Cake — The tiramisu was solid. The olive oil cake had a slight “Chinese bakery” aroma, but the whipped mascarpone on the side was lovely. Best combo? Dip the tiramisu’s ladyfingers into that mascarpone — next level! 🙏 🍸 Drinks — Both cocktails we tried were great (see pics!). Their cocktail game is strong, and everyone seemed to be sipping something different. Solid wine selection too! #Foodie #LosAngeles #LALife #StudentEats #LAFoodFinds
