My friend, a Japanese food connoisseur, set up tonight's omakase gathering — supposedly one of the top spots within a 500-mile radius of Arcadia! 🍣 Reservations required — they check vaccine cards and temperature. 👨‍🍳 Chefs: Four sushi chefs on a Tuesday night — all authentic Japanese. 💰 Price: $700 for four people before tip (brought our own wine — corkage fee $30). 🍣 Food: Started with about four appetizers before moving to sushi. The Hokkaido hairy crab was a standout — amazing! Followed by Akami Bluefin, Chutoro, lightly seared Otoro, Uni, etc. — around 15 courses total.
