LA Area|Fullerton Japanese Spot
Went to the weekend market in Fullerton and found Enraku Sushi nearby — good reviews and they had the beef intestine hot pot I’ve been craving since Tokyo! Inside, the space is huge with strong Japanese vibes! 🐟 Umi Sashimi (24 pc Chef’s Selection) Includes seared black cod — skin lightly charred, flesh tender — plus fatty salmon belly, creamy uni, sweet shrimp, and more. Every piece was delicious, and this massive platter was just over $60! 🍲 Motsu Nabe (Beef Intestine Hot Pot) A must for offal lovers! Beef small intestine is chewy, large intestine looks fatty but bursts with juice. The broth, loaded with cabbage, is sweet and savory. 🍣 Sushi We ordered 3 pieces of the seasonal sushi recommended by staff — fish was fresh and flavorful, though the sushi rice was a bit too tangy for my taste. Prefer the sashimi here! 🍱 Japanese Teishoku (Set Meal) Choose 2 or 3 items — I went with teriyaki salmon and tempura, served with salad and miso soup. Solid, filling, and affordable (around $10+)! 💡 They have a wide drink selection — beer or sake: 2nd bottle for just $1 🍻 All sushi rolls: 2nd order 50% off!
