LA Area | My New Go-To Spot for Xi'an Food! 🥢😋
Our close friend is from Shaanxi, so we grew up loving home-cooked Northwestern Chinese dishes. Now, we make it a tradition to reunite over these flavors! This restaurant is near South Coast Plaza—perfect after a day of shopping. Santa Ana and Costa Mesa are seeing more amazing Chinese spots lately! 【Boiled Beef Tripe Skewers】 Light and refreshing, not too spicy. Served with a rich sesame sauce at the bottom—so flavorful! Even my kid devoured several skewers (and made a happy mess!). 😄 【Beef Noodle Soup】 Huge portion—enough for an adult and a child! The broth is light yet savory. A must-try for noodle soup lovers! 🍜 【Mahumian (Dry Tossed Beef Noodles)】 They told us it’d transform after mixing—and they were right! Absolutely delicious! As a dry noodle fan, I loved how each strand was coated in sauce, with cilantro and big beef chunks. My new regular order! 👍 【Six Alley Liangpi (Cold Skin Noodles)】 The noodles and gluten taste freshly made—you can tell by the texture! Pro tip: we mixed in dumpling sauce later, and it tasted even better! 😉 【Dry Tossed Pork & Cabbage Dumplings】 Accidentally ordered these, but they became my favorite! The dipping sauce is incredible—wish they sold it bottled! 🥟 【Big Plate Chicken with Noodles】 We always order this dish wherever we go! This version serves 2-3, with hand-pulled noodles that are wonderfully chewy and tender, well-seasoned chicken. The restaurant is clean and tidy, with genuinely attentive service—something I’ve missed in Chinese eateries lately. Staff checked in kindly and answered all our questions. 🧡 Six Alley Liangpi 2 Hutton Centre Dr #201, Santa Ana, CA 92707 #FoodChallenge #LosAngeles #LALife #LAEats #OrangeCounty #Irvine #FoodDiary #FoodieLife #EatWithFriends
