LA Art District|Instantly Transported to the Middle East at Bavel 🫓✨
A restaurant I’ll definitely visit again! 🍴 The way they serve pita bread with different sauces totally awakened my inner love for doughy delights (hello, Northern Chinese roots!). And the cocktails we randomly ordered were absolutely delicious too! 🍹 🍄 Appetizer - Oyster Mushroom Kebab Grilled marinated mushrooms served with avocado dip—so tasty and a great way to start the meal! 🦆 Spread - Hummus with Duck ‘Nduja My top pick! A rich duck spread in the center surrounded by creamy hummus, eaten with warm pita bread. The first bite made me want to stand up and dance 💃! 🐓 Spread - Chicken Liver Paté This pink chicken liver pâté was unique, paired with pomegranate sauce and wholesome grain bread. Best enjoyed warm—it gets a bit heavy when cool. 🐟 Entree - Grilled Dorade Tasted just like Chinese-style grilled fish! I looked it up—“chermoula” is a North African marinade made with cilantro, garlic, cumin, and olive oil. How could it not be delicious? 🍴 Bavel 500 Mateo St, Los Angeles, CA 90013 🅿️ Valet parking $12, or look for street parking Have you tried Middle Eastern food before?
