LA Birthday Spot — Totally Blown Away! 🥳

We stumbled upon this place for my boyfriend’s birthday, and the service, food, and vibe were absolutely amazing — it made the celebration so special! This Mediterranean-inspired restaurant — Bacari Silverlake — is an absolute gem. As soon as they heard it was a birthday, they surprised us with two complimentary glasses of wine to kick off the celebration! And when we were about to order drinks, our server kindly covered a bottle for us — so thoughtful and delicious 🍸. Since their dishes are on the smaller side (perfect for sharing), we tried a variety: 🥬 Lettuce Cups — So tasty! Crisp lettuce topped with shrimp and squid — refreshing and flavorful. 🐟 Chef’s Salmon (recommended by staff) — Delicious with walnut crumble. A must-try! 🦪 Scallop Medallions — Incredibly tender and paired with a sauce that totally matched our taste. 🍄 Stuffed Mushrooms — Our top favorite! So aromatic and savory — we couldn’t get enough. 🥩 Petit Filet — Great cut of beef, perfectly seasoned with coarse salt and sauce. Yum! For dessert, we originally wanted ice cream, but when our server found out it was a birthday, they offered us a free bread pudding and added the ice cream scoop we wanted on top! Then they brought it out with a candle, and the whole staff came by to wish a happy birthday — such a heartwarming moment 🎂✨. We highly recommend this spot! The atmosphere is warm, every server is incredibly kind, and the food is seriously delicious.
