Even with finals next week π§βπ«, we couldnβt resist a group meal! 7 impatient but chill friends β waiting at a trendy spot was out of the question, so we booked a table for 7 at this Thai restaurant in Culver City at the last minute. Thought it might be a low-key spot since we got a lunch reservation so easilyβ¦ But halfway through our meal, we noticed a line forming outside! Score π The food was interesting and tasty: π Scallop Crudo β scallops were a bit too soft, honestly. π₯ Seafood Sizzling Plate β SO GOOD! Fresh seafood, lightly spicy, rich sauce β we demolished it (forgot to take a pic!) ππ π Basil Bomb β didnβt see much basil π€, but minced pork + seafood combo was delicious! π π Octopus β perfectly cooked, served with a fragrant green sauce (slightly tangy & spicy) β very interesting! π π² Tom Kha Soup β mild, creamy, packed with veggies. π¦ Crab Fried Rice β Not recommended. The rice itself was tasty, butβ¦ whereβs the crab meat?! π π¦ Live Lobster Pad Thai β pretty good! Pad Thai leaned sweet, but the lobster was fresh and sizable. π§ββοΈ Vibe was awesome β a birthday celebration at another table kept the energy high. Modern yet playful decor, with purple lighting that gave off Southeast Asian night market feels!
