LA Culver Hotel Plog 🐙🌼🍽️
This restaurant hasn’t been shared by anyone yet— so I’ll be the first! 🙃 And trust me, it’s not just “pretty food.” Tucked away on the first floor of the historic Culver Hotel, this French-inspired spot oozes classic, nostalgic charm. 🎻 In the evenings, a live cellist plays, elevating the whole atmosphere to something truly elegant. They even screen old movies on a big projector! 🎥 We started with the squid appetizer, baguette, and beef tartare—all delicious 😋 The truffle pasta was rich and creamy, topped with a raw egg that took the flavor to another level 🍝 The steak was incredibly tender and smooth 🥩, generously portioned and served with fresh greens 🥬 Only the dessert was a letdown—the jam tasted suspiciously like cough syrup… 🙂 We stumbled upon this place completely by accident while walking by 🤭 The exterior gave off major “Shanghai Bund” vibes, and the ambiance drew us right in. Inside, it felt even more special—the entrance area really resembles Xī'àn in Shanghai. Outside, they host open-air movie screenings 🎞️—so many people gathering under the stars! It’s a perfect place for a post-dinner stroll. You can even walk over to Erewhon or Salt & Straw for some ice cream afterward 🍦 It’s rare to find a spot in LA that’s so ideal for evening walks… For a moment, it really felt like being back home. 💫 #VibeHotel #OutdoorMovies #LAOutdoorCinema #LAPrettyFood #CulverCity #LAFood #LADining #RestaurantRecs #LiveMoments #FrenchInLA #DateNightIdea #HiddenGems
