LA Downtown｜Gorgeous French Bistro — Le Petit Paris 🥂

Ventured into DTLA with friends at night—was a bit nervous, but it turned out totally fine! Our Uber dropped us right at the door, and stepping inside felt like entering a chic Parisian escape. Polished decor, waitstaff in sharp suits, warm and welcoming service. The star dish: Black Truffle Mac & Cheese 🧀 The chef wheels over a huge wheel of cheese and prepares it tableside—loaded with truffle shavings, rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. Must-orders: 🦆 Duck Confit — The most tender I’ve ever had. 🥩 Beef Tartare & Oysters — Fresh, bright, perfect with drinks. 🦪 The oysters were surprisingly sweet (I usually find them too briny), but here with lemon and chili—perfection. 🍸 Tried four cocktails—forgot the names, but one was cucumber-forward and refreshing, another was lychee with vodka—both great! After one too many “pretty but bland” meals, this spot delivers both beauty and flavor.
