LA Downtown｜Gorgeous French Dining at Le Petit Paris

My friend and I braved LA’s downtown at night — nervous but actually not as chaotic as expected! Our Uber dropped us right at the restaurant entrance. Stepping inside — fancy decor greeted us, with waitstaff in sharp suits — warm, welcoming, and professional. 🧀 Their signature Black Truffle Mac & Cheese in a Wheel of Parmesan is a must-see (and taste)! The chef wheels out a huge parmesan wheel and prepares it tableside — generous with the truffle, incredibly rich and satisfying. 🦆 Duck Confit, Beef Tartare, Oysters — perfect with drinks. Their duck confit was the tenderest I’ve ever had. The beef tartare and oysters were super fresh — I usually avoid oysters (too fishy), but theirs were surprisingly sweet and briny. A squeeze of lemon and dash of chili — so refreshing!😍😁 🍸 Tried four cocktails — forgot the names, but one had a crisp cucumber flavor, and my friend’s lychee vodka drink was also delicious! After many “pretty but bland” meals, this place truly delivered — both beautiful and delicious, and super photogenic too.
