LA East Side Eats|The Japanese Bento Box I Crave Every Week 🍱

This hidden gem near the SGV—in Chino Hills—is always buzzing! Every time I go, there's a line (even on weekday lunches 🥹), but it’s totally worth it. Sitting at the bar can get you seated much faster! 🍣 My Recommendations: Uni Sushi: Generous portion of uni! Sweet, fresh, and bursting with flavor—uni lovers, this is for you! 🥰 Eel Sushi: A big piece of eel with just a little rice—perfectly balanced! Scallop Sushi: Sweet scallop topped with a green pepper sauce (a bit spicy—ask to omit if sensitive). Salmon Collar: Not on the menu—ask the staff! Huge portion, lots of tender meat. Baked Lobster Roll: Topped with plenty of torched lobster meat and glazed with savory-sweet yakitori-style sauce. Seabass Miso: Miso-marinated cod, grilled just right. I got the set that comes with miso soup, salad, and rice. Sukiyaki: Loaded with cabbage, tofu, beef, bamboo shoots, and noodles. Also comes as a set with sides. Bento Box (3-item): Crunchy roll + teriyaki chicken + teriyaki salmon. Massive portion—two people can easily share! Includes salad, rice, and miso soup. 💰 Price: Around $35–40 per person 📍 Ojiya Japanese Restaurant 4183 Chino Hills Pkwy, Ste J & K, Chino Hills, CA 91709 ✨ There’s also a branch in Torrance! ✨ Closed on Mondays #LosAngeles #LAEats #LAFoodFinds #HiddenGemLA #JapaneseFoodLA #BentoBoxLove
