At last, today is my first time ordering lunch at Bento Woman! Conveniently located along Western between Pico and Venice, they have an extensive menu of Japanese bento dishes and some Korean staples. Interestingly, to place your order, you'll ring their doorbell at their window. A lady answered the window and kindly took my order of the Combo Bento (it comes with beef and chicken teriyaki). It was reasonably priced at $15.99 plus tax with a side salad, scoop of steamed rice, macaroni salad and a few fermented veggies. As I waited for my order, the lady generously offered me a sample of their chicken teriyaki.
I was immediately impressed with their chicken teriyaki because it had an ideal umami taste. Other places have their sauce either overly salty or sweet. They have boba drinks and things like croissants, but I just ordered a bottle of water.
They have no dining room, just some chairs so you can sit while you wait for your order. Because of this they have no atmosphere.
They have a mid sized...
