LA Eats|This Curry Cutlet Truly Lives Up to the Hype! 🍛✨
📍 Jincook Little Tokyo Hours: Daily 11:30 AM – 12:00 AM 🅿️ Parking available in nearby structures or street parking (but can be tricky to find!) I kept seeing so many people rave about this place, so I went with a friend yesterday to check it out. Even though I’m not usually a huge curry or cutlet fan, this spot really surprised me—in a good way! 😋 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jalapeño Curry Katsu This seems to be the most popular order—and for good reason! The curry was flavorful, the chicken cutlet was crispy and juicy, and the jalapeño added a nice kick that balanced the richness. My friend mentioned the sweet potato version was a bit too heavy, so this one’s a winner! ⭐️⭐️ Mushroom Soup A strong mushroom flavor with a mild spicy note—pretty tasty! It had glass noodles inside, making it quite filling. ⭐️ Hotteok (Walnut Sweet Pancake) This was just okay—very sweet. The pancake was thick and coated with brown sugar syrup inside and out. Not my favorite—I’d skip it next time. Overall, a solid experience—no wonder everyone recommends it! It totally changed my view on curry cutlets. The interior is clean and comfortable, and the service was really friendly too. 👍 Have you tried Jincook’s curry cutlet? What’s your go-to comfort food in Little Tokyo?
