LA Food|6 Ktown Korean Spots I Keep Going Back To 👍

LA’s food scene wouldn’t be complete without Ktown holding down a major stake — it’s always worth the drive. Here are six spots I’ve returned to again and again, the kind that keep you craving more 🤤 🍖 Jinsol Gukbap – Spicy Pork Trotters & Boiled Pork 💰 ~$30 per person Had this on my list forever and fell in love after the first try! Highly recommend the spicy pork trotters — braised until tender, spicy, sticky, and melt-in-your-mouth. Get mild if you can’t handle heat. Their boiled pork is also a standout — thick slices of pork belly with dipping sauce. The spicy beef soup, bibim naengmyeon, and seafood pancake are all solid too — portions are huge! 🤓 🐂 JunTong SulLungTang – Beef Soup Specialist 💰 ~$20 per person This place keeps it pure — only 12 items on the menu, all beef-based soups. Season it yourself — the broth is rich and comforting. Try the #4 soup with thick noodles and beef ribs. The #11 boiled pork is also a good choice. 🏮 Dan Sung Sa – Vibe-Filled Korean Izakaya 💰 ~$40 per person An LA late-night staple, always buzzing and open until 2 AM. Focuses on Korean tapas and skewers — grilled gizzard, short rib, pork belly, even grilled ginkgo nuts. Other recs: fried chicken, cheesy corn, tteokbokki ramyeon. Great drink selection — the yogurt soju is tangy and sweet. 🥬 Kobawoo House – Best Bossam in LA 💰 ~$50 per person Rarely mentioned online, but hands down the best bossam I’ve had in LA! Packed with Koreans. Thinly sliced boiled pork belly wrapped in kimchi with pepper rings — one bite = pure satisfaction. Their dolsot bibimbap, doenjang jjigae, and kimchi pancake are also amazing. 🍢 Feng Mao BBQ – DIY Skewers That Feel Like Northeast China 💰 ~$60 per person Been coming since my USC days — the owner is Korean-Chinese and speaks multiple languages 😂 All about grilling your own skewers over charcoal — huge cuts, good quality meat. Other Northeastern dishes are legit too — sweet & sour pork (guobaorou) is crispy and saucy. Heard prices went up a lot lately though, FYI 😅 🍗 Kyochon Chicken – The Takeout Craving Always grab it to-go and it smells so good I want to eat it in the car! At home, just 2 mins in the air fryer brings it back to life. The soy garlic flavor is a must — crispy, garlicky, with pickled radish on the side to cut the richness. #LosAngeles #LAFood #KtownLA #KoreanFood #LateNightEats #ComfortFood #MustTryLA
