LA Food|Ma’s House Islamic Restaurant in Rosemead 🥘✨
I’ve always loved this halal restaurant—every dish is delicious, and every time I visit I see Muslim friends dining here, so it must be very authentic! 🔥 Stir-Fried Sliced Meat – One of their signature dishes! Slices of meat (not sure if lamb or beef) are wok-fried with green and red peppers in a secret sauce (likely chili powder and Sichuan peppercorn—fragrant, tingly, and slightly spicy). The potato noodles soaked in the sauce are amazing! It was so good we ordered extra wide noodles to mix in. 🍲 Whole Lamb Soup – As a food blogger, I’ve tried lamb soup at many places, often ending in disappointment—most taste like pre-made broth with low-quality meat. This is the only place in LA where I’ve found a truly natural and delicious lamb soup! The broth is light, mild, and slightly sweet with the natural flavor of lamb—definitely no MSG overload. The lamb and offal are fresh and subtly sweet. We weren’t too hungry this time, so we only ordered two dishes, but everything else on their menu is great too. Next time I’ll write more! If you’re visiting, I also highly recommend: • Sesame Thick Pancake – Super fragrant but huge, best shared with a group • Pickled Mustard Greens with Beef • Big Plate Chicken (Dapanji) Honestly, I’ve rarely had a disappointing dish here! 💰 Two people with tax & tip: $55 Portions are generous and very filling! #LAEats #LAFoodie #LosAngelesFood #RosemeadEats #RosemeadFood #SanGabrielEats
