LA Food Adventure|NEW Korean-Chinese Fusion 🍜🔥

【Northridge Food Edition】 📍 The Ppong Northridge Rating: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 (if you like Korean-style flavors!) Price: Around $20–30 per person 💵 I say “if you like Korean-style” because there aren’t many standout unique dishes, but the overall taste is really solid. So if you’re into Korean-Chinese food, you’ll probably love it. If not, it might not blow you away. Here’s the breakdown: ❶ Cioppino Noodles (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) You can’t choose the size—it comes in a super huge bowl! 🥣 I ate until my stomach was about to burst. Packed with shellfish, plus some 🦀 and 🦐. The broth is delicious—I kept sipping it! The spice level is just right. Great value for a hearty meal any day. 👍 ❷ Jajangmyeon (Black Bean Noodles – Large) As a big jajangmyeon fan who’s also tried it in Korea, I’d say this one was just okay. They use the same thick noodles as the Cioppino, which are a bit too thick and don’t absorb the flavor well. The sauce was also a bit mild. Not bad, but not amazing. ❸ Okonomiyaki-Style Sweet & Sour Pork So good!! We ordered the large portion and devoured it. ✅ Highly recommend! I heard that if you speak Korean, the grandma owner might give you free side dishes 🥬 I didn’t get that treatment this time—maybe next time I’ll score some complimentary banchan! 😉 Have you tried Korean-Chinese food before? What’s your favorite dish? Let me know below! 👇🍴 #LosAngeles #LA #LAFood #CaliforniaLife #CaliforniaEats #Northridge #NorthridgeEats #KoreanFood #KoreanChineseFusion #ComfortFood #NoodleLover #SpicyFood #FoodReview
