🍢 LA Food Review | Skewers & Good Vibes at Little Pub
Felt like having skewers after so long – and this spot, Little Pub, hit the spot! Plus, many skewer places don’t open for lunch, but this one does 😊 I’d been to their Monterey Park location before but wasn’t impressed – this time was different! The restaurant is in a plaza with easy parking. Loved the quirky wall art and the friendly service 🎨 🍖 What We Ordered: Lamb skewers (small + large) Beef skewers Squid tentacles Potato slices Beef rib skewers Corn kernels Taro balls Grilled cold noodles Cucumber salad 🥒 Cucumber Salad: Huge portion (~$9), refreshing and crunchy – perfect from start to end! 🍜 Grilled Cold Noodles: Never had the “authentic” version, but these were soft, savory, and delicious. 🍠 Taro Balls: Crispy outside, soft inside – not too sweet. Kid-approved! 🔥 Skewer Highlights: Potato slices: Crispy and well-seasoned Corn kernels: Soft and sticky – yum! Large lamb skewers: Flavorful and tender Squid tentacles: A bit under-seasoned Small beef/lamb skewers: Just okay Beef rib skewers: Too tough to chew 🍧 Shaved Ice Dessert: Looked pretty but was too sweet, with chewy mochi that wasn’t great. Won’t order again. 💵 Prices were reasonable, and I’d definitely return for the cucumber salad, taro balls, grilled cold noodles, large lamb skewers, and potato skewers – maybe try some new items next time! #LAEats #LosAngeles #LASkewers 🍻✨
